Olga
Balabanov Lapka
Olga was born in China
but traveled to Canada with her family as a young child. Her parents had escaped
from Russia during the Soviet revolution and found a home in the mountains
of China. This exciting True Life Adventure will soon be available for Young
Adults.
Olga and Michael are the
co-founders of a children's camp located
on the Azov Sea in the Ukraine. They have traveled extensively throughout
Russia and the Ukraine, even when it was still known as the 'Soviet Union'.
Their travel adventures and children's camp stories will be published under
Fox Song's True Life Adventures
Series for Children and Young Adults. The
Bear Roared, the first title in this series by Olga, is
scheduled for release in 2004.

Faith has written
several Young Adult and Children's books, most recently published by Fox Song
Books: The Peacock's
Stone, Tree
Root and River Rat, and Angel
Walker. She is a member of the Society
of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
Faith also enjoys writing
with two of her best pals: Jemma
the Advice Dalmatian, and Burrita the Literary
Donkey. These two popular characters will keep you grinning and well informed!
Their titles will soon be available under Fox Song's Creative
Critters line.
Faith is also a Registered
Nurse and a member of The American Academy
of Nurse Practitioners and The
Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. She and husband, artist

Vincent
James Richardson
Vincent is an artist as well as an author. He co-authors picture books with his wife, Faith Richardson, and is the artist for most of the illustrations on the covers and inside the books published by Fox Song Books. He also is the voice behind The Black Cat! The Black Cat writes under the Wild and Wacky Series by Fox Song Books.
Vincent grew up in
Mexico City and Los Angeles. He studied art in Mexico and in the USA, and
much of his work has been influenced by his Hispanic roots and education.
His soon-to-be-released picture book A
Thousand Eyes depicts his love of the Mayan culture.
Vincent is a teacher
as well as being an artist and author. For more information on Vincent,

Hope
Sterling
Hope is a Canadian
author who lives in Vancouver, BC. She loves being a 6/7 grade teacher and
enjoys writing both academically and for children. Her forthcoming title with
Fox Song Books is all about the world of fairies, called, The
Fairy's Song. It will be published
under Fox Song Book's children's fiction line, Fox
Cubs.
In her spare time, Hope is a musician who plays the keyboard and sings. Hope's
CD, The Way Things Are, will soon be available through
a link on this site. Stay tuned!
Hope also enjoys traveling, and has a cat named Caterina.
